Adnan is a sports scientist (BA in sports and MA in Kinesiology), founder and owner of Pro-Fit Health. Strength and Conditioning (PFHSC) in Sarajevo, one of the leading training and rehabilitation centers in South East Europe. Since 2007, he has been dedicated to helping people move better, live healthier and achieve better results in sports. His work is entirely based on the assumptions and principles of FMS as a system. He applies these principles daily as a head coach at PFHSC where he works with athletes, including Olympians and European and world medalists. In addition, Adnan is very active in spreading the concept of functional training. For Perform Better Europe, the European leader in functional training, he is responsible for the international education of certified functional trainers (CFT1 and CFT2) in South East Europe, and also works as an official FMS educator in the same region.
Movement Before Load: Why Every Training Program Should Start with FMS
Are you still guessing how your clients move — or are you screening them first? Before we load a barbell, chase speed, or prescribe volume, we need to ask one fundamental question: Is the body ready to move well? In this lecture, we’ll explore why movement quality must come before strength, and how the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) gives us a reliable, time-efficient system to assess just that. You’ll learn how FMS identifies dysfunctional patterns and asymmetries that often go unnoticed — until injury or plateaus appear. More than just a test, FMS is a decision-making tool that can transform how you program, coach, and progress your athletes or clients. We’ll go beyond theory and show you how to use FMS in real-life settings — from warm-ups and regressions to tracking long-term development. If you’re ready to stop guessing and start coaching with precision, this session is for you. Movement before load. Screen before strength. Train smarter.
